Eton Elite Executive Issue

I just purchased a used Eton Elite Executive Receiver on Ebay.
I received the radio and it powers on but absolutely no sound or receive at all.
I hear a slight hiss in the speaker when I turn it on but nothing else.
The seller already refunded my money but will Eton still repair this radio? I don't think it's still under warranty but I would still like to get it repaird.
I tried contacting Eton on their website via email and it's been over a week and no response.

I recommend you look on eBay at new ones. Last month I bought a NIB Executive for $43.

I did, and it works flawlessly. I just think it's such a waste having to dispose of this non working radio.

I agree that it’s sad that so few things can be repaired these days.
