I have been listening to a Capacity Plus system recently by simply letting it monitor everything in the ID Search mode.

I didn't program in the LCNs, etc. It seemed like I was missing some traffic, both regular calls and Private Calls.

Now after adding the correct LCNs, TGIDs and adding a TGID of i0 for the Private Calls, it seems like I am missing less traffic.

Has anybody here had the same results? Have you ever compared another radio on the same system to see how the Uniden SDS100 compares?

Pretty sure it needs LCN's to work properly.

If you monitor it as conventional, but it can lock on to just the control channel slot, or OFT it will cover both slots of a single frequency Cap+ system. IDSearch includes i0 private calls so no need to add that, if not doing IDScan. If you program it as MotoTRbo using LCN it will only track the control channel and you could miss all the private calls, if not on the control channel right when the call are set up.

Unidens 436/536/SDS scanners have some issues in DMR decoding that you notice if you have another scanner monitoring the same channels, like a Whistler TRX. In the beginning when Uniden added DMR to their scanners it worked great but then they decided to support RAS and to skip encrypted transmissions as soon as they where detected and from that day the firmware code have been compromised and flawed.
